ABOUT THE BRAND

L’Envers is an independent French brand based in Spain. After living in Paris and London, founder Julie and her family now live in a quiet village in the mountains near Madrid. This is the place where all the pieces are knitted in local, small family workshops. Julie’s family roots in the textile world goes back to 1820 when her great-great-great-great-great-grandfather founded a wool mill in northern France.

SOURCING AND PRODUCTION
At L’Envers the mission is to design fewer pieces made in a better way. What the world needs is less waste and less pollution. They only work with environmental fibers like organic cotton and natural wools, like merino, yak, alpaca and mohair wool. All natural resources, biodegradable and renewable.

All the materials are carefully selected from their mills in France and Spain, which allows them to control the manufacturing conditions of the yarns, to guarantee non toxic-materials which is better for your health and the environment.
